We were so excited to welcome Dr. Lee from ELEVATE Tongue Tie and Airway Center to visit our PreK students today!
Dr. Lee taught us all about keeping our smiles healthy — how to brush and floss the right way, which foods help our teeth stay strong (and which ones to enjoy in moderation), and why nose breathing is so important for our overall health.

Number towers are a great hands-on tool for helping young students develop their number sense and counting skills. They provide a visual and tangible way for children to compare quantities, and they’re especially helpful for engaging students who are tactile or visual learners.

You can use number towers to explore concepts such as:
⭐️ Comparing numbers: Ask, “Which tower is taller? How do you know?” or “Which one is shorter?”
⭐️ More/Less: “How many more blocks are in the blue tower compared to the red tower?” or “How many fewer blocks are in the yellow tower than in the green one?”
⭐️ How many more or less: “How many more blocks does the blue tower need to match the height of the red tower?”

To add even more fun, you can create challenges or games—such as building towers to match a given number or having students build towers that are shorter or taller than a specific number. If you have multiple colors, you can also ask students to add up the number of blocks of each color in the towers to begin exploring addition.
